Pros

Good opportunity to try new things

Cons

It took a long time to realize I was bullied out of this (Ann Arbor) site in the most humiliating way imaginable. The job happened to be a uniquely good fit for my skillset and I worked hard which garnered favor with senior management much faster than normally happens in a CRO. Someone felt threatened or maybe just saw me as an easy mark. Admittedly I did make it very easy for them by being such a; but they had an extremely high level of social intelligence and an honestly impressive talent of psychopathy. I still think about it from time to time and it makes me so sad that anyone could be so cruel over a dead-end job that pays $30k/yr. I suspect its not all that uncommon in the CRO industry but I wouldnt know because I'm in a much better career thanks to all this.

Pros

Very low proc rate. I can draw blood with my non dominate arm as well. I've done many split shifts for LabCorp. I've traveled a lot for LabCorp. Sometimes 2hrs in a single day. I go above and beyond. In so much that Advanced Cardiology only wants me to be their tech and no one else. They love having me as their tech. I take out Advanced Cardiology's trash and boxes to the dumpster for them. I do deep dives to ensure the very rare specialty tests are done exactly the way the doctors want them since these test codes are rarely given. And when PTs want a curtesy copy sent to another doctor I make sure to put it in the system and make an additional attachment,. Which makes the PTs very happy😁I also cover Rowan OB/GYN at night when ask at the Sper of the moment. I'm very willing to go above and beyond for my supervisor. I stayed on the clock even though I pulled a muscle around my ribcage and I was struggling to breath; it was hard to keep my asthma under control...I didn't want to inconvenience LabCorp by leaving. So I went to the hospital after my shift.

Cons

speed even though I've done a 25 PT volume IOP by my self.
