Pros

The schedule isn't as strict for an Associate as it is for a Specialist.

Cons

They overwork you as an Associate - you are the go to person for the specialist beneath you when they have questions, as well as the go to person when the Program Manager needs something. You're responsible for assigning everyone's work and making sure the phone's are covered while working on your own reports and daily work. They promote people based on favoritism so you are working for people who don't know what they are doing causing even more stress.

Pros

Great people to work with, lots of work to do,there are many advancement opportunities, plenty of parking and good benefits.

Cons

HW:Horrible pay,no reward for hard work, you have to play politics or suck up to move up,no interaction with Snr management, even the mentoring program is politicised. Supervisors are highly incompetent so are most Snr staff.Horrible interview process even for internal positions.

Pros

- A lot of people complain about ability to advance. I didn't have a problem with this and found lots of opportunity for talented people who gave 100% - Great pay, very competitive - Lots of PTO - Excellent benefits - Excellent place for branching into new career paths under an umbrella of security

Cons

- The call center is heavily staffed by temporary employees who can be either a detriment when given the wrong responsibilities or untapped since Covance can't afford to convert - Call center talent is managed much like a blind man panning for gold. Completely unaware of the value of what gets discarded and what is kept or promoted - Technology is a little outdated and nobody wants to admit that it's weighing down the quality of service provided to clients - Can be very symptomatically responsive and never proactive - Starting to feel like a jack of all trades and a master of none with the new business mgmt is chasing
