Pros

I have worked with some great colleagues. When the workload is manageable then it can be very fun and fulfilling. steady hours if you're management. Nice that they have coffee stocked for staff.

Cons

*Salary is awful, no sick days. will happily work you 95+ hours per pay cheque but if you miss even an hour to one day you will be deducted. pretty much take all you can and give the least to employees mentality. No 15 minute breaks. high turnover rate. Staff and warehouse is not given enough hours to move the amount of freight pushed upon us. Burnout in warehouse is very real. floor associates can make spiffs and bonuses but you don't get any rewards for the hardest physical job at JYSK. The warehouse buzzer is the loudest and most unnerving sound, its actually punishing. Low wage for the stress/physical work and multi tasking. Not many opportunities to change roles. so much of the furniture is very cheap and broken before it arrives and store gets hit on budget for it. Increasingly bad reputation for JYSK customers as so many boxes are missing hardware/pieces. I've never seen this happen so much anywhere else. me and many employees have worked 2 years without a raise. and it's usually a dollar when it happens. If you ask most people honestly they want to quit or have tried.

Pros

I could barely find a good reason to work at Jysk's finance department.

Cons

Very stressful environment full of rudeness and bullying, with high turnover of employees and no training. I would never expect to meet so horrible management in the finance department. Not recommended.

Pros

Absolutely none, staff discount is a perk I suppose if you like a cluttered house, off trend decor or broken furniture.

Cons

I can only describe this employment as the worst few months of my life! The training scheme is a shambles with no communication from the HR department and out of date online courses. The stores are messy, I witnessed many unsafe procedures such as blocking fire exits, staff are not correctly trained on manual handling and are expected to carry 95kg boxes alone. The furniture is poor quality and often arrives in store broken or with known faults. Hours are long & there was never enough staff to cover tasks, the store manager was abusive to staff and sat in the office all day refusing to help with any duties.
