your team can be fun

You are unable to install or uninstall softwares meant for software development without the authority of a support team who has zero knowledge about most topics but only has proper rights to install stuff on your computer. This can take several days!!! Most peope you contact don't really want to work. It might take days until they answer and you are lucky if they actually want to help you. Lack of knowedge around software development and aiding tools.

Great collaboration within shannon the people and teams want shannon to be a success great facility with good amenities onsite free parking / electric charging great canteen with subsidised pricing good benefits although healthcare is for full family the vhi picked package itself could be way better no dental option Great leaders mostly - wouldnt be any harm if this was shaken up to give a new lease of life and growth to shannon

shannon feels isolated and disconnected sometimes from the UK and global outlook Hr teams need to be more involved/ accessible and hands on in dealing with teams when there is team conflicts / personal issues arising and to have some empathy i would suggest some trainings also from hr to teams on dealing with this if they simply cannot / will not properly without fobbing off to online resources which doesn't reflect all too well communication on roles is not clear - prepare to walk into a different role than what you signed up for …
