Really good people, talented, friendly, down to earth. Engaged in the work.

Cons

None to think of. Good experience. Unfortunately closed the Sydney office where I was.

Pros

Roster of impressive clients and breadth of different project experiences.

Cons

Draconian policy and profit maximization at the Omnicom level leads to terrible outcomes for agency employees, both in day-to-day operations and career progression. Every promotion a battle, every raise too small. Building and retaining talent is not a priority, and it is having an increasing impact on the quality of the work for clients. Interbrand global management is hyper-focused pleasing Omnicom, does not have a strong acumen for innovation / managing a successful business, communicates very poorly, and is oblivious to the situation on the ground.

Pros

-Fun, smart people -Big name clients and (some) interesting projects -Decent work-life balance (but this is not true for everyone/ every role)

Cons

-Lots of change and many rounds of layoffs in the last year+ -Many big-egoed senior leaders who are difficult to work with and do not care about team's development -Projects can become very rinse and repeat; ultimately most clients have the same fundamental brand problems -Recent austerity measures due to IPG acquisition + internal politics = VERY slow to promote people -Once you reach a certain level, your growth maxes out unless you are buddies with the CEO and able to get into a global leadership position -Mandated 3 days/week in-office for ALL employees regardless of role, situation, or location
