Pros

Good salaries compared to other employability providers. Nice and spacious offices Peer-to-peer learning. Good efforts to help customers, employees are exceptionally good-hearted people who care deeply about each other.

Cons

- leave/sick policies are stressful and unrealistic for front-line employees, they add up to the front-line employees’ poor mental health, the policies are the same for all employees, including hybrid or remote working without considering the front-line employees who are exposed to customers’ viruses and difficult cases, there is also little support to organise the unrealistic workloads of admin tasks to meet KPIs. Flus and mental health sick leave is a constant and to fix this, the company tightened up the sick leave policies instead of offering better support to improve the employees’ overall health, making it hard for the employees to trust the company. With as little as 3 separate days off-sick in a year, you are invited to attend a formal absence meeting and you may get a first warning as a result. Many wonder if this is even legal. The help offered is limited, they tell you to call an EAP line. Managers are not well-trained to deal with complex and very large teams, they are constantly busy with the demands that come unexpectedly from their superiors. The support is found within closed doors as a way to mitigate the employees’ concerns or needs when managers are caring and compassionate, this makes it clear that they have little to no power to improve the company's culture.

Pros

Company values Some great people same about the other person who drag the company down Good benefits

Cons

Toxic environment Long hours need to be worked to do the job. Expected to be operational and also in meetings all day then have to catching up at night or work build up which causes you to have no work life balance Staff allowed to bully and harass to get free rain over management to please themselves when leaving work poor planning from direct line causing to many meetings and to much training therefore leaving insufficient time for people to do day job Manager left unsupported and unheard more bothered about staff that are causing the issue rather than supporting the people who are effective and trying to bring everyone living the company values and supporting the right behaviour. Ineffective indesisive regional management structure staff left with no moral due to lack of direction. Allows gossip to form opinions on management just trying to do there job. Not measured on anything factual no KPIs just their opinion which is unfair causes personal stress lack of moral for the individual

Pros

I was lucky enough to be part of the EST team- who were a group of incredible people. They were a close-knit group, who had such a powerful sense of companionship and would all work together. The management team were particularly incredible. I always felt supported and helped in all my endeavors. My manager Jonathan allowed me to grow within the role allowing me more responsibility and projects when I raised, I wanted more to do. He was also incredibly open, when something new was happening he would run it by you, and he genuinely valued your opinion and input. There were several changes that were put in place due to suggestions I had input, which made me feel like a valued member of the team. They were all so open and you felt as though you could talk to them whenever you needed. They fostered an inclusive and friendly work environment where you felt safe to go to them with problems and not a negative, blame environment. There was also so much opportunity to do extra training and development, which was a brilliant bonus. My time at Ingeus was truly brilliant and I enjoyed every second of it- I cannot wait to see where it goes next and hope to see it flourish.

Cons

It would be great if there were more chances to progress within the business- it seems as though you are at point and the next step is management, there is no in-between steps that you can take to progress.
