Pros

None. Everything you are told at induction day is a lie

Cons

Everything you are told at induction is a lie. Double the caseload you should have. Bullying management who are clueless. Senior management who dont care less Just 30 mins break from 9am till 5pm. Total disorganisation. Company values are not worth a thing They believe in nobody least of all the jobseekers There is no care or respect for staff or job seekers They own nothing and take no responsibility They would not know what doing the right thing is Try to stifle any criticism of the business Obsessed with compliance over everything else Too much repetitive admin....its bonkers! Management eavesdrop on private conversations then tell tales They lie about other offices figures to us to run us down Stress levels through the roof All restart advisors bitterly unhappy and looking for new jobs....you will be to Completely toxic working environment. The worst i have ever seen Only 30 mins for a face to face with jobseeker....nowhere near long enough with admin to complete. No chance of promotion unless your face fits Totally unrealistic job targets to reach THIS JOB WILL MAKE YOU ILL AND RUIN YOUR QUALITY OF LIFE!

Pros

It used to be great two years ago

Cons

The CEO must go. This company is unrecognisable as the place I worked at two years ago. I have never seen an exodus of staff in such numbers. Every week another two or three people escape. Yet management seem to not care about this. They are so out of touch with the reality. The way clients are treated is disgusting. The senior managenent team seem determined to destroy this once great company. Advisors need to whistleblow to Providence, DWP, the media and even to the other W2W providers. A class action needs to be taken against the company. It is the duty of former and current employed to do this. A quick email to CEO of Providence and to DWP from each advisor should have the desired effect. A few years ago senior mgt were great. We had a great guy as the London Operations manager,a great really cool guy as the PDM, even the CEO was exceptional. Yes, a few of the other PDMs were not liked because they were rubbish at their jobs. Now we have a management team of former advisors who understand nothing about engagement or strategy. It's the JFDI school of management. If they had any integrity they would resign. They are weak. This company is heading for closure. (The founder has even left) Bullying is constant. Working there has become intolerable. Every advisor is saying the same things about how bad it is. Every advisor must take a full one hour of lunch and leave on the dot of 5.30. If the work doesn't get done then so be it. Advisors need to take the power back if this company is to survive. It's clear to see that the management are unable to run this company - they are buffers and spoofers. They constantly blame advisors for the mess. This company has become a joke and a laughing stock under the current management team. Even prominent members of senior management are sending out their CV to agencies in the hope that they find something before Ingeus collapses.

Pros

The tube station was across the road from the building

Cons

You will meet the worst humanity has to offer. Aggressive, uneducated, ignorant, lazy, arrogant, sneaky and poor social skills - that's enough about the PDMs, let's talk about the clients. Your small caseload will be long term sick and long term never done a days work in their lives. Your job is to get 8 people per month into work lasting more than 6 months. You will have to see 12 of these deadbeats per day, whilst undertaking endless pointless admin work against a backdrop of your manager shouting at you and threatening to sack you. Even if you can resist the urge of giving your pdm a back handed slap, this job will drain any goodness you may have and you will end up hating unemployed people. You will probably give some serious consideration to taking your own life. I could not put into words or convey how horrible this job has become. The PDM in my office was hated by the whole company yet she was held up by senior management as the troubleshooter. Maybe this had more to do with her low cut tops ( it certainly wasnt because of her ability as she didn't have any as a manager) Her presence would make you want to vomit. Management have a contemptuous attitude towards staff. They will remind you daily of how grateful you should be for getting paid a decent salary. ( btw, What they pay you is not enough to put up with all the things in this job)
