Pros

Great benefits, great opportunities to move up if you want to go get it. Too many people start at IKEA and think that all the opportunities will just be handed to them and that's just not the case. If you work hard and go get it, the sky is the limit.

Cons

The hours can be a bit demanding, but I suppose anyone that gets into a retail career would have to understand that going in. Early mornings and very late nights can make it difficult on family life.

Pros

Good insurance and health benefits

Cons

Its a company that says it tries to live by it core concepts and beliefs, but it is superficial at best. at its worst the management ignores what the company is suppose to stand for and does there own thing that usually backfires.
