Pros

Always oppurtunities to get more hours, lunch is convenient, made great friends

Cons

Not very organized, the sales employees always foward the customers to the cashiers to handle THEIR job or tell them wrong information and it has the customers and cashiers very irrate and confused. Human resources aren't resourceful, some managers have been there for years but are careless and oblivious. These same managers harrass you on your break bombarding you with questions like "What break are you on?" "Who broke you?" This or that? Vamoose. Weekends can be extremely hectic.

Pros

Great Benefits - Health, PTO, Holiday Gift, $3 meal deal, Holiday Party, Team Outings Unique Company Culture - not your usual corporate structure/environment Global Market Leader - biggest home furnisher in the world and getting bigger Opportunities for Development - lots of departments to work in depending on your interest

Cons

Not enough locations in the US - limits moving around Humble company so doesn't always do a good job of promoting how good it is to work here. Technology is OK but not cutting edge

Pros

-Benefits (healthcare, flexible medical account, pay 25% of tuition, childcare and elderly care) -Great training -Management is pleasant and truly cares about employees -Always room to advance

Cons

-It becomes very stressful when dealing with escalated customers. You will have days when you are dealing with a very high call volume, with the majority of them upset -You are graded on an adherence policy which is very strict -It seems that there is a lack of communication between the local store locations and the delivery companies
