Pros

Was able to learn how corporate doesn't care about people, which changed my expectations of work in general. Glad I learned early.

Cons

Worked as CSR spent a lot time improving processes on my own time to make my department and co-workers hit their metrics and streamline processes while also doing call center agent work when customers called in. Worked weekends and long nights too, and didn't get paid for it correctly. So much so Humana lost a class action lawsuit about this and I got a check years later for money not paid on my hard work. Got fired on my annual review because they said I sent 1 email 6 months prior off my computer that wasn't a Humana corporate email.. I sent an email to one of my friends because I couldn't reach him on his phone. - That's a fireable offense? smh Humana knew about this for 6 months, but instead of letting me know the day it happened that this wasn't allowed, they held on to it for 6 months.. worked me like a dog without pay, and then let me go on my annual review even though I went way beyond my job duties to create more streamlined processes in my department by creating macros and SOPs to improve their bottom-line. This is def the job you want to "quiet quit" if you can. Better yet, just stay unemployed.

Pros

I loved my team, my co-workers, and my job. Just did not agree with with some of the call metrics that we are expected to meet as i do not feel they are realistic for the calls we are taking

Cons

Do not agree with there PIP .I believe it is a way to weed employees out and do not feel that the standards set are realistic for job duties. I do not feel that it was explained in training that technically after a three month period that was supposed to be a ramp up period...if any call metric in that ramp up period was not being met....would be used against you on that fourth month(the first month that you are not in RAMP up period. So if you were not meeting goal during the RAMP up for two months and then your first month out of RAMP up you dont make goal...your placed on a PIP ...for 6 months and any call metric not met during that 6 months ..whether it is the one you originally did not meet...or any other metric..you get fired! Then we are expected to make hold time and talk times that are not even realistic due to the calls that we deal with. Feel it is just a way for Humana to weed people out.

Pros

Generous PTO Work from home Volunteer time Other wellness Perks Those are the only pros

Cons

High management turnover Disorganized management When I first started at Humana I truly felt this was the company I could retire from. Wow have things changed. I have been here less than 2 years and am on my 5th manager. I work in the SNP program which is a big mess. Unrealistic productivity expectations and the company does not care for the members only lining their own pockets. A manager who left confided in me that she was asked to do questionable things that challenged her integrity. When you first join you are made to feel like you made the best career choice. It's only when you are in the door you see the mess this company is in. We went through hell with the audits and the company lost many good people. They don't care about retaining good talent they just bring in more cattle when they burn out the first batch.
