Hitachi Vantara is uniquely positioned to be a leader in delivering the edge-to-cloud IoT pipeline by drawing on it's software assets and the ability to work with other Hitachi divisions.
Cons
Poor sales culture inherited from Hitachi Data Systems is all about discounting hardware and lacks the willingness sell solutions. From management to sales operations are all wedded to old business practices and processes. Unfriendly & unwelcoming culture, based on account managers guarding territories and appeasing their cash-cow re-sellers, than collaborating with sales specialists to sell solutions and growing the business. Senior management lack the ability to articulate or execute their vision.
