Pros

Great people. They have a lot of activities to bring employees together and be able to explore company culture. Nice cafeteria and meal discounts. Work load is reasonable, good work-life balance.

Cons

There are office politics just like every where else. Gotta be really diligent with up-keeping your work performance, so you're not the one at the bottom that they consider to have a "talk" to pressure you to leave. Even if your performance review went well and had positive feedback from your leader, it's still possible that they come and surprise you with a suggestion to consider "other areas" to find a job in. It's pretty scary and stressful to be put into this situation without any transparent communication about their actual thoughts on the performance.

Pros

There were good benefits (hotel discounts, etc...).

Cons

RMCC Management was terrible. It feels like you're in a box the way they want you to conform to their standards. It's their way or you won't be given a fair shake. Given Hilton is an older company, there is really no room for upward mobility especially if you're young and looking to grow with the company. The job itself is very monotonous and there was little to no variation in your daily tasks unless you happen to fill in for someone. Again, unless you're looking to enter the hospitality industry, I wouldn't apply.

Pros

Only perks were the hotel discounts and free parking they offer to employees. They will try to offer all these cool incentives but really it’s just a ruse to make the employees feel good.

Cons

Horrible management. Not flexible with any schedule you give them that was outside of THEIR preference. If you called out because you were sick, they punished you. If you were one minute early or late, they punished you. The managers are nowhere to be found when needing answers or support even if you call them. Good luck. The HR team is a complete and utter disaster. No support for the team or when receiving complaints. Nothing done about the complaints currently in motion. They shrugged their shoulders, dropped the pen they were writing with and said, “if you don’t like it, you can leave. There’s the door.” What HR team says that??? The managers do not support their team or help them in any way. There is no communication within the team nor within the managers. Asking for time off is a joke. Don’t waste your time with working at specific location unless you’re perfectly healthy and have nothing to do with your time and have no kids, no second job, no school, etc but be at their beck-and-call. I am currently waiting on a call back and it’s been well over a week with NO communication whatsoever with this team and this location.
