Pros

Car and petrol card which they provide give others an illusion of Hilti paying their employee the best in the market.

Cons

As mentioned in Pros company do not pay as per market standard. Maximum hike is 5 to 7k every year. Promotion is not based on performance but how much you can lick your manager's boot. No inclusiveness, people in remote areas are left with all alone. No transfer opportunities Employees in senior positions try to make you feel down and there are some 20 main employees who get promoted in different roles rest are at the same positions only. So company has been portraying to be very good but reality is different

Pros

The company is excellent at encouraging multi-cultural exchanges and inclusivity. There are some great people still at the company, who are long-standing members of the company from when it was much better. Once a year they do a company party, which is fun assuming that everyone you know hasn't already resigned. Good company benefits but mostly geared towards Manchester Head Office workers.

Cons

Goal-posts not only for success, but progression are constantly moved. Progression is halted for many, under the guise of 'it's coming', only to have those promised roles filled by people from other countries. Good for recent graduates who need an OK-paid job, but anyone seeking progression should look elsewhere. Bonus-structure used to be market leading, but the goal-posts have been moved so high that it is almost impossible to make a handsome bonus anymore. Low transparency on business decisions and views for the future, until they've already been implemented and negatively affected everyone who has been working towards something else for years. Staff turnover is extremely high, so improving processes is difficult as every time you talk to a department/role, it's someone else and the process starts all over again. Lots of red tape as to what you can and can't do, with most decisions requiring approval, which not only diminishes autonomy but also takes a long time and damages relationships with customers.

Pros

Very good and supportive co-workers

Cons

Some leaders are neither capable of communicating their expectations on you, nor have the ability to navigate political environment, which is absolutely necessary, leaving you as subordinate doom to fail in your job. Very man-dominant environment, boys club. Very shallow equality and inclusive agenda. As long as the diversified leadership style is not welcome, women or people of color possess different style will not succeed, regardless how many different nationalities or women are on the lower ranking jobs.
