Pros

Work can be challenging. Good benefits good people that I work with did have an awesome boss that looks out for his employees

Cons

Away from home a lot pay could be more competitive to other companies that have same type of job had a change of supervisor that cannot keep his own employees satisfied and working at the company longer than a couple years his turnover rate is high so put him over more employees and take a supervisor away that everyone did work for would do anything for him I see a bunch of current employees leaving in the near future.

Pros

Fairly interesting work, opportunities to work anywhere in the world. Very good benefits. If new to the oilfield, it is an excellent place to learn.

Cons

An extreme amount of bureaucracy. Promotion based on jumping through hoops, not quality of work. Management decisions comes from people thousands of miles away.
