Pros

great benefits, had to have surgery 7 months after hire and it was basically paid for. I got my full pay during my 10 weeks which I was recovering.

Cons

started before it was bought by Halliburton, promised raise to proper salary level per Halliburton from Halliburton on first applicable date. I was there 11 months later with the same undercut salary.

Pros

The best reasons to work for Halliburton are the people. You will not find a greater environment of folks that believes in teamwork and helping each one reach their goals.

Cons

Some challenges you will face while working with Halliburton, while coming from a field engineer I was faced with challenges of planning my schedule around my job, instead of my job around my schedule. You have to be available for the time they call you until the job is finished. Some physical work is involved, but that's the sacrifice of being a field engineer.

Good training, decent pay for someone just out of college.

Cons

Management is terrible. Everything they do is about cutting costs, and they don't care about their employees. Will force employees to drive 3+ hours a day on top of working 13 hr shifts so that they don't have to pay for hotels. Since I have worked here, things have just gotten worse and worse
