Pros

They have a process to get projects done. Nice benefits.

Cons

Can be political at times but what company isn't? Not as flexible to work from home when I worked there.

Pros

If you want international work and travel experience there are a lot of opportunities with HSBC.

Cons

While there are opportunities....the compensation for and care of the employees is extremely questionable. Benefits and compensation structure continue to erode. Most notably for US employees. Also difficult to work for an organization that continues to be in the press for all the wrong reasons.
