Pros

Stable job, good vacation and benefits. Ability to work from home in certain positions either 100 % or less. Possible growth opportunities since there are many departments and locations worldwide

Cons

Very difficult to get raises, the banks bottom line profit comes before employees. In addition more responsibility and skill requirements are added yearly without any or little financial increases in pay

Pros

I work in hdpi analytics. Less work and hence less pay. Very good place for those who are not much ambitious in life and just want to sit and relax and get below market pay.

Cons

Process is more important than people. Often this is quite frustrating. You need to have a Godfather in order to have promotion, good hike etc. Poor quality people around you Too much politics. No promotion No retention policy No travel/onsite opportunities. Travel is frozen due to financial constraints Poor quality of work. Onshore people in US /UK tend to throw away all the dirty work to Indian offshore analytics centers. Incompetent senior management
