Pros

Some teams are good where you get to learn a lot . One mandatory leave is given per year which is the one benefit which I felt.

Cons

Its like a school where you are not given freedom to do anything and is full of politics

Pros

Good pay and benefits, ability for a number of positions to work from home on a regular basis.

Cons

Company is cost cutting all over the place and offshoring jobs and outsourcing. Hectic work load and schedule, mixed messages from management, constant change of direction. U.K. management out of touch with what is going on with North America operations. Execs out for themselves.

Pros

1. Flexible with lunch hours 2. A lot of team bonding events

Cons

1. Open to feedback - But turn a deaf ear when staff really confides with boss 2. They're quick to blame you for mistakes, but rarely express gratitude when you succeed 3. No recognition for hardwork but rather how you bootlick your boss (Common scene: buying coffee and tea for boss everyday) 4. No intention to retain good workers but insist on keeping workers just because they have been with the bank for long. 5. Interviewing process not consistent throughout the bank. 6. HR leaves everything to business/ line manager to handle hiring process/ complaints. No involvement from HR when there is a need. Not sure what have they been doing. 7. A lot of unnecessary roles with overlapping responsibilities.
