      Pros

      Flexibility, good work environment, focused on objectives, challenging. Despite of being a "traditional" tech company environment is dynamic and top management aims growth.

      Cons

      Monolithic organization, changes are hard to come by, career growth varies greatly.

      Pros

      new parent leave has improved: 4 weeks paid new parent leave plus in CA where we have paid short term disability, the company supplements the program so you get full pay for 6 weeks of SDI instead of half. And if you have any complications, you can extend. I've seen this company transform over the last few years. There is a strong focus on bringing in new talent with high level of enthusiasm. HP is getting younger and more dynamic. A lot of the complacency I've seen and older reviews and experienced in the past is dissolving rapidly. In my experience, I've been able to move around to different business units and functions. If you're a driven self-starter, there is a ton of opportunity to learn, advance and develop your career.

      Cons

      Food is of poor quality and not subsidized. Office facility is not great. bureaucracy and hierarchy still exist. they've improved but are still a source of frustration

      Great company culture, cares about work and life balance. People are smart and nice. Willing to help out whenever they can

      Cons

      Too many reorgs at the top level, which creates interruptions to get work done. Lack of clear strategy on how to move the company forward
