Pros
The company is formed by nice people that want to do their best. H&M is a company where longterm employees are highly valued. You can buy loads of cheap clothes with a discount. If you like to travel, you can travel a lot, and participate in country and store openings all over the world.
Cons
People are professionally born and grow in the company, and it is the only world they know. Anyone coming from the outside world is an "outsider" that has to be swallowed by the machine and their brains washed until they comply with the general beliefs, like it or not. The values look great on paper but their interpretation is very special. There is a lot of dirty competition hidden behind nice smiles. HR department is the most unprofessional I have ever experienced, made of people that once were store assistants and have no clue of what should be HR. In general and due to high workplace rotation, people are unprofessional, however they have a high pride and don't accept any suggestions to improve. The systems are very outdated and IT is very oldfashioned. Everything is low cost, employees, perks and knowledge.
