Pros

Flexibility: The company remains committed to flexible work arrangements, allowing employees to work from anywhere. This has been particularly beneficial for maintaining work-life balance. Results-Oriented: The focus on goal-oriented results rather than strict clock-in and clock-out times provides employees with the freedom to manage their own schedules and be more productive on their own terms. Autonomy: Employees enjoy the freedom to decide how to use their potential. This autonomy fosters creativity and innovation, allowing individuals to leverage their unique skills and strengths effectively.

Cons

Talent: There has been a noticeable decline in talent retention and development. Many skilled employees are leaving, and there are limited opportunities for professional growth.Opportunities: The company is struggling to identify and capitalize on new market opportunities. There seems to be a lack of innovation and adaptability to changing market demands.Clear Road Map: The company's strategic direction is unclear. Employees are often confused about the company's goals and their individual roles in achieving them.Motivation: Employee morale is low, and there is a significant lack of motivation. Achievements are seldom recognized, and there is little to no engagement from management.Core Values and Benefits: The core values of the company are not consistently reflected in daily operations. Additionally, the benefits package is starting to deteriorate

Pros

Salary was good, but I'd imagine that is one of the primary reasons I was let go since I was not billable after their client decided to drop me without real reason. They also cannot seem to grow their US business because their Devops groups are so highly dettached from one another. They do well in the development space, but not in the Cloud/Devops space at all comparatively to their competition.

Cons

Company has no idea how to do business outside of engaging with partners and clients that they already have through development contracts. Beware, they will move you to another city (yes even for short term contracts), give you relocation, and then the moment the client changes their mind a couple weeks later, they will terminate you, without PTO, without severance, without reimbursements to what they owe you, without getting your side of the story. You are the mercy of a potential client that might not give you ample information for your requirement to do you job, and to make it even worse, you won't have access to do your job either. I asked for access on a daily basis and escalated to my project manager who was an offshore manager who had no idea how to align with the client and get me the information I needed to do my job. Will leave you high and dry in the end. They let me go on Veterans day to top it all off before Thanksgiving/Holidays after I got sick for 2 days. So now I'm out several thousand dollars preparing to move, signing and then having to backout of a lease, no severance or assistance, and even them not paying my mileage and other agreed to items. Unbelivable that this place would do that, and I'd advise anyone to make sure you sign a signon bonus or get the relocation up front. .

Globant Needs to Grow Up

Pros

Opportunity to move and work with other cultures, very hard working people. Nice dedicated employees, who try their best to improve the organization.

Cons

Globant senior leadership tends to only promote Argentinian Men, very sexist and racist company to work for. Many of those who sit in senior leadership are not even qualified to do their jobs which makes it worse, the company is plagued with favoritism. This is greedy organization they do not care about ethics of running good business practices. I am in the US as a Senior Web UI and Globant is nothing more than a glorified Cheap StaffAug company. They don't pay well and fail to give consistent cost of living increases, no career paths and you are treated like a second class citizen on client sites. The US HR team has made tremendous strides in trying to clean up the mess but they get absolutely NO Support from Senior Management. It's time to Grow Up Globant or you will be sued due to poor ethics, business practices, or get hit with a sexual harassment case with the foul things I've seen at company events. Even American strong senior leaders they hire turn out to leave Globant after less than a year once they find out how poorly this company is ran with a bunch "not the smartest group" of people running the company in Argentina. My two cents... Don't waste your career at this toxic place, I tried to give it the benefit of the doubt but it's really gone from bad to worse, I am looking to get out of this zoo!
