Pros

-Work Life balance incredible -Work overseas and work remote from other country for long term without being discovered (So many people do it) -Salaries in Latin America are a little up from the average - Stable work - Ideal for confort zone or mediocre professionals - They starting the AI culture, but being realistic Globant has no experience on IA as they say on their promotional platforms.

Cons

However, recent developments have raised concerns, including reports of over 300 layoffs across various locations. One of the company’s long-standing challenges appears to stem from its hiring practices between 2020 and 2022. During that period, technical interview standards were reportedly lowered, resulting in the onboarding of underqualified professionals—some of whom have been promoted to senior roles. This has led to client dissatisfaction, erosion of trust, and reputational damage in key markets such as the UAE and the U.S. For professionals aiming to grow in a high-performance environment, this situation can be limiting. In some cases, a lack of technical competence has also created toxic and unproductive work dynamics. Additionally, leadership and promotion decisions are often perceived to be driven more by personal relationships than by merit or demonstrated skill. Salaries have reportedly stagnated for over three years, and several U.S.-based clients have withdrawn services. While the company is expanding through partnerships, feedback on the quality of service remains mixed—even from partners. Globant’s growth in key regions like Germany, the UK, and Italy has been modest, and in the U.S., clients are increasingly turning to more cost-effective vendors with stronger technical expertise."

Pros

Good work-life balance Nice office 100% flexibility for remote work

Cons

There is little room for actual personal career, leaders often promise things that never arrive (promotions, salary reviews, project changes, etc) Frustrating projects at strong clients, do not leave much room for negotiation. Impossible to speak up for your results, visibility gained only by showing off and participating in company social events. They do not care if you are unhappy in your project, as long as you keep doing the bare minimum to bill their client. It feels like an Argentinian company in Spain, not easy to fit in. Only one company event per year and expenses are not covered by the company (only travel and accommodation*) but.... they ask you to share your bedroom with another colleague, this is unacceptable for EU standards.
