Does not value employees

Pros

Decent culture, relaxed dress code

Cons

Below market value pay, poor management decisions and lack of structure. Management offers empty promises such as career growth and raises to keep you hanging by a thread. Management plays favorites and holds onto dead weight. No stability and structural reorganization causes unhappiness across departments, therefore increasing turnover. Not one person is happy in accounting.

Pros

it’s a job and … well, it’s a job.

Cons

I read all the reviews on Glassdoor and noted that there is a shared feature among the positive ones: the cons are usually trivial or turn into defenses of Forcepoint. Also the advice to management in these reviews is remarkably similar sounding: ‘keep doing what you are doing’, ‘keep up the good work’ etc. In addition, these reviews typically follow a negative review. Who do you think wrote the positive reviews? The reality is that things are really bad. Lots of people are leaving. And for good reason. The acquisition of Forcepoint by Raytheon has created a toxic work environment in which people who were not put in place by Raytheon do not feel safe. There is also a general atmosphere of incompetence and mediocrity. Neither talent nor hard work is appreciated. Politics reigns.

Pros

Company has been very flexible with work since the start of Covid-19.

Cons

Management has made it quite clear they are willing to sacrifice employee benefits so they can meet their goals. 3 years ago: They reduced the 401k benefit. 2 years ago: They reduced all raises, cancelled any promotions, etc. This year: They cancelled all 401k matching till 2022. After 5 years of telling us we would get a sabbatical leave they cancelled it a few months before anyone would be eligible. They use the pandemic as an excuse while the numbers show the company is doing quite well. Note: They did all this while giving big bonus' to upper management. That's not cool. I would think twice before starting to work here. It's sad when you lose trust in your leaders. I wish I had started a career with a different company.
