Pros

The physical location in San Diego is good. Co-workers are friendly and are generally nice to be around. Has a relaxed dress code and well defined working hours of 5:00 AM to 5:00 PM pacific time.

Cons

It is like working in a poisonous environment. It is incredibly hard to remain upbeat as the people around you are all disgruntled and downtrodden. Upper management has no concept of reality as to the amount of effort required to meet certain goals to achieve a bonus. If the goals are not met on achieving the quarterly bonus then everyone is made to feel like a failure as the so called "bonus" goals are set as an absolute minimum in standards rather than as an incentive to achieve above and beyond. In the past even when these goals have not been met the benchmark has been pushed higher and employees ridden harder to get them with no change in approach. Employees are expected to make many person sacrifices with no recognition and are left to feel guilty if they cannot go above and beyond due to any person commitments that were made long before the company asks for any extra time from them. If an employee does make the personal sacrifice, the attitude from management is that this is just normal and not deserving of any recognition as if they did not do it they are failing to do the minimum for their job.

Pros

- Some really great co-workers - Some decent training if you support the new appliance and your manager likes you - Ample oppurtunity to learn if you are willing to teach yourself

Cons

- Management no longer cares about the employees - Your personal life emergencies\problems are not important - A severe lack of actual training on the product new releases - Extreme pressure to meet the quota and get that 10. If you get a low mark than you recieive a bad mark even though the survey states that they liked the tech just not the product, that is still your fault. - Extremely unrealistic numbers without doing massive overtime
