Pros

-The people of Zodiac are awesome and most are genuinely enjoyable to work with; the environment is undoubtedly enhanced by the people here -Excellent advancement opportunities (at least in my department) -Strong, pragmatic, yet reflective leadership -Competitive compensation & benefits -Rare schedule flexibility -Constant focus on enriching the culture within the workplace & "fit" of team members -Truly values driven (if you buy into the values and guide yourself by them, you will succeed) Zodiac is a place that had been in a bit of turmoil in years passed resulting from the consolidation of multiple acquisitions under one roof and fluidity in the leadership. I've watched it transform from the days of less stability & consistent turnover to the well honed & carefully appointed team it is today. The direction of the company has been on the upswing for at least a few years now and I feel very confident about that trend continuing under the leadership of Bruce Brooks. It is a fast paced environment by design and this can lead to burnout for some, but the diligent & hardworking are regularly rewarded from what I've seen. If you can't thrive on the challenge of a large workload and tight, but not unrealistic, timelines, this may not be the place for you. Zodiac has deliberately created an environment that demands focus & excellence, but along with those come considerable boons in the form of culture, flexibility and compensation. Work hard, produce good results and you will not only earn advancement, but loyalty from management. I'm very apt to brag about the culture here to my friends & family and it's not surprising in the least to regularly receive jealous reactions of disbelief as a result. The people and culture make Zodiac not only a unique, but special place to work.

Cons

-Communication regarding changes & explanations to company policies, merit increases and career paths could be better (there has been substantial improvement here recently, but there is still room to progress) -Lean Workforce; Zodiac does not overstaff and you won't have any shortage of work to complete. Most of us here thrive on that scenario, but some may look at it as a bit cutthroat -Truly Values Driven (if you can't or won't buy into the values, you're stop off here will be short lived) -Fairly meager merit increases, you have to get a promotion to get any reasonable pay increase
