      Used to be pretty good, needs to get a lot better

      Pros

      Flowbox had a lot of issues when I left, and it doesn't seem like it has gotten much better. It used to be a fantastic place full of spirit and inspiration, but things got sour quick and I'm not sure how they are going to turn things around. + The Stockholm office is fantastic. Main perks: high ceilings, great location, ping pong table, Mario Kart, FIFA, a terrace, a fully stocked, free Convini fridge. + The teams are very inclusive. When I was there, there were about 17 nationalities. + The pay was pretty good.

      Cons

      - The company was never adapted to its enormous growth, leaving employees with overwhelming duties. The major growth happened during the pandemic, which also left large gaps in team bonding and the culture in general. - The teams also don't know how to cooperate properly, and it has cultivated a very dog-eat-dog mentality. There were a few gems of people, but they were being overworked and their kindness was taken advantage of. - Favoritism is real and some people have it way easier than others. Goes both ways, some people were almost bullied into quitting by management (it's super hard to fire people in Sweden) - Little to no respect for boundaries from management, would get tasks that were not related to my job I genuinely hope things get better.

There have been a lot of changes in 2022, most of which are related to the merge with Photoslurp in Spain, so we are facing both very positive and exciting changes but also challenges, of course.       The fact that there was a coordinated push to try to improve the reviews on the 30th of January is a big red flag in and of itself. Creating false coordinated reviews in order to try to hide and brush off valid criticism shows quite a lot about the culture of the company. The company lacks the ability to execute on the technical front due to significant and continuous changes in the tech department. The product exhibits a significant number of functional defects and lacks a clear purpose. The managers appear to lack a cohesive vision for the company and instead of safeguarding their team members, engage in passive-aggressive micromanagement and intimidation tactics. As a result, numerous colleagues suffered from burnout and were subjected to mistreatment. The work environment is toxic, which shows in the high level of employee turnover. The employees are under considerable stress without meaningful direction or support in all departments. In light of these circumstances, I strongly advise individuals to avoid association with this company.

Regarding the comment about reviews: at the end of January we asked all employees to voluntarily leave their objective reviews at Glassdoor and some of them did (some didn't). Under no circumstances we would ask employees to deliberately leave good reviews, though we understand it might look like that.
