It is overall an easy job if you are computer literate and you are a confident person that has no problem with talking to strangers.

Cons

The upper management is unbelievably terrible in Fastenal!! It seems that they do everything they can to make your job harder and harder day by day by taking away the basic things you need to do your job correctly and efficiently.

Hours are prime and there are no weekends. Work schedule is also very flexible for part time students. Time off is usually not a problem.

Cons

Advancement and raises can be few and far between away from corporate. Stores can fight between themselves for customers and sales.

Solid company with decent benifits and work schedule. You are given the opportunity to get payed based on perfomance with a decent base.

Cons

Training is slow to come and support is only fair. The product delivery system make too many mistakes and doesn't do a good job of correcting them
