      Pros

      Montreal Associates counts great multicultural employees among their staff. The initial training is good and the offices look nice.

      Cons

      Toxic work environment due to gossips and favouritism. Management does not take feedback into account. Salaries, promotions and other benefits are discretionary. Turnover is very high.

      Hi there thanks for your feedback. It's been a hard six months for us at MA, similar to many organisations struggling to deal with the impact of Covid-19. Communication is something that we've had to deal with, particularly in the aftermath of the initial outbreak. I can see how the lack of clear communication has led to some of the conditions you describe. Since the start of the summer, we've added weekly company wide meetings as well as 'huddles' where every employee meets with myself and the CEO in groups of up to six people to get answers to their questions and information straight from the horses mouth. We've still got improvements to be made, but I'm confident we're on the right track.       1) My time at Montreal Associate was unfortunately marred by a high degree of micromanagement. The work culture seemed to prioritize oversight to an extent that hindered productivity and creativity. This pervasive micromanagement made it challenging to feel empowered and trusted in my role. Regrettably, my experience was further compounded by what I can only describe as the worst managerial relationship I have encountered in my professional career. Effective leadership, communication, and support were sorely lacking. This not only impacted my job satisfaction but also hindered my ability to perform at my best. I believe it's crucial for potential candidates to be aware of the management style within Montreal Associate and to carefully consider whether it aligns with their preferred working environment and career goals. Transparent communication and a healthy balance of autonomy and guidance are vital for fostering a positive workplace culture, and I hope that this feedback contributes to the ongoing dialogue about improving professional experiences. 2) Very very very low salary compared to the market and other similar professions
