Thank you for your review. There are many promotion opportunities at Elsevier. However, in a global company of over 8,000 employees in various business units - Tech, Healthcare, Research, Operations, Finance, Legal, Communications, Sales, Marketing, Publishing etc., we encourage our people to think differently. We give them the freedom and autonomy to carve out their own career paths and take accountability. We support them to see Elsevier and RELX as a big job marketplace in addition to any required development training and ongoing career development discussions with their managers.

Colleagues are great, working environment socially is very appealing;

Cons

Workload can be quite high as they don't yet have enough Quality Engineers on staff to handle the increase in software development with the hiring spree.

Thank you for your review. From it, we noticed that you worked at Elsevier for over ten years. Thank you for your contributions. Most of our employees stay working for us for many years because of job stability. With the business world changing constantly and so rapidly, virtually every established business feels the imperative to continuously improve and innovate. Executives, managers and employees across our business work hard to figure out how to best and strategically address the genuine needs of our customers and partners. With about 8000 employees in 180 countries, we are in a position to sometimes manage our business priorities and support our customers by maximising our efforts while we focus on our employees and their needs through any change.
