Pros

Big organization around charity, volunteer opportunities. Some areas have flextime.

Cons

Individuals in senior management positions are ruining the company. Don't hire internal candidates, if they do, they pay is not equal to someone new coming in. Lack of experience, knowledge. Good people leave and bad stay behind. Building is located by a landfill and it always stinks.

Cons

You are on your Reporting manager's mercy in regards to career progression. They openly threaten you that if we go to higher level to report the issue it would not be good . HR is colluding with the management. They don't know about the processes and policies and keep on diverting you from person to person for things they should be knowing about. No HR policy rather they are Manager's policy. Whatever manager agrees is okay with HR. Zero support from HR. OfficeVibe is for name sake. No anonymity.

Pros

Flexibility 2 work at home days

Cons

Benefits being slashed All employees will have 5 less vacation days in 2020 (oh, but we can buy them back) Over the next 3 years 401K contributions will drop from 7% to 5% I have worked there for over 7 years, and have never had a raise over 2.5%. No one I know has either. They did away with cubes and offices to go to open concept offices with lockers for our belongings. At your 10 year anniversary you used to get a $1,000 bonus; 20 years a $2,000 bonus. Starting in 2020 for 10 years you get $100 Amazon gift card; 20 years a$500 Amazon gift card.

Thank you for this review. Many of the changes in benefits we are implementing for 2020 have been in response to an employee survey earlier this year, as well as our efforts to harmonize policies between our different business units and to offer new programs we are seeing in the marketplace. We are hearing from our employees that they would like improved medical plans and flexibility in their time out of the office and we are making changes in our overall benefits package to allow for this, including improved family benefits for parental, elder care and paid FMLA leave. We encourage you to reach out to your Empower Retirement to understand your individual situation as the 401(k) matching contribution formula is based on years of service. It seems like what you have written may not be reflective of the new plan based on your years of service. We would like to clarify that employees are not losing vacation days. One of our business units is converting to the PTO policy that our other business units offer, which allows employees flexibility in how they use their time out of the office. In the conversion, employees will keep their number of vacation days. Sick and personal days have been adjusted and are now added to the amount of vacation days and the total number of days be available as PTO. Additionally, the company will now allow for carry over days for all employees to allow increased flexibility. For anniversary awards, we are harmonizing the system for all employees. We realize that this change does impact the award amounts for longer service employees, there will now be opportunities for spot awards throughout the year. Again, thank you very much for the review.
