Pros

Home working. Office canteen is just about acceptable

Cons

Senior management mentally stuck in a bygone era. No appetite for innovation. No leadership with sufficient competence to drive change. Senior management surrounds itself with “yes” people that bring zero innovation to the business. Customers are regularly oversold to. Fundamental inability to incorporate technology into everyday workflows or to execute on complex, non-publishing related deliverables.

Pros

European dominated, centralized management does everything by the book. Plenty of red tape, paperwork, hoops to jump over for the simplest of things.

Cons

Legacy products dominate. Same outdated technologies used to maintain them are forced down on all. All in the name of "consolidation" to help some paper pusher meet a Workday "goals!" Most cases those technologies were not properly implemented. Be prepare to rot away doing major clean up if not redoing the original work on old technologies. Management looks good for "standardizing" things. Does nothing for your own career.
