Pros

Some nice people but they are all leaving and moving on!!

Cons

mistreatment if not favored, detached management, fear based management styles, no growth, and hostile work place HR is useless and only care about events and favoritism. Management turns blind eye to people that do not work there but expect favors and are not that bright. Some people have been there too long and need to move on! No career growth at all...well, unless you are in deeep favor with someone there!

Pros

- Very good profit-sharing bonus (FR : "I&P"), only 2nd to the ones in banking AFAIK. About 20% of annual salary. - A lot of advantages like best French work council (FR : "CE"), facilities (parking, cantina, sport rooms, a lot of different classes) - Final products are quite amazing, powerful. - Atmosphere is rather relaxed. - Regular traineeships. 1/year let's say. - Some top companies have been bought recently (but quite some people have left them since)

Cons

- A lot of people don't know how to program. This seems normal when you know that a lot of people do not come from the IT world but are mechanical etc engineers. - Bad technical ecosystem. They do everything in-house, and succeed in some process'/tools/FWs, but just don't have the manpower/skillfulness to compete with existing market solutions. If you prefer using git/C++ stdlib etc, don't go there :D - Some subjects keep resurfacing every 3-6 years, with no solution to them. - Internal competition leads to instability, wrong people at the wrong places, pressure. - Management chain is big, and too many technical decisions are made by the top who are simply unrealistic delay-wise. The code-base is too big and sloppy and redundant to efficiently do something. - Too much heterogeneous software practices, software... companies that are bought aren't ingested properly (or left to be there way). - Takes 5-10 years to become a manager of more than a few people

Pros

Flexible working hours Great campus Good leave policy' Good employee policies Cant think about any more

Cons

Pathetic Management. Not good pay. Salary increments are not good. Treated differently if compared with employees that are in development and with engineering background. Micro management by manager. People in BAPS are not valued at all either by HRBP and by management. Gave mid year salary revision hike to all developers but completely ignored finance department. Manager becomes cry baby if asked for planned leaves. Approves after lots of begging and then assigns lot of work to be completed before going on leave. Manager asks to participate in activities which no one has any interest to participate in. Manager does not have even 10% knowledge of process. Does not help if one came across any issue and is stuck on the task. Manager does not have people management skills. Talks in very un professional language that too during team meetings. Work is being assigned till very late in evening and you are expected to complete it in same day.
