Pros

One of the smartest, hardworking and top quality engineering teams I've ever seen. They always have an eye open for any new technology out there, and immediately incorporate it if it suits them. You get high responsibility from first few days of your work. Very flexible environment where most work remotely. Company is growing at an enormous pace. Very competitive pay and unlimited vacation policy.

Cons

Do not have some of the typical startup perks like free lunch and dinner everyday, though they have weekly catered lunches and fully stocked micro kitchens. Lot of processes are unstructured which can be expected from a startup.

Pros

Work from home if you don’t live near an office.

Cons

The program management team at a Crowdstrike was toxic. If you brought a single original thought and didn’t just toe the line from the director, who had never been a program manager anywhere else you were targeted. I was treated to retaliation over protected statuses and my concerns were dismissed, eventually had to leave.

CrowdStrike Response

Hi there, thanks for this review. We love hearing great comments about our pay and advancement opportunities. We also recognize your comments on product management and culture, and will pass those along to our team. Regarding remote work, we are and remain a remote-first company. For all employees, remote work constitutes 60%—100% of their working experience at CrowdStrike. An increased emphasis on RTO was announced by our CEO in early December and, following that announcement, the leadership of some organizations made the decision, in the best interest of the business, to ask employees close to specific offices to return to office for any two days of each week. Functional leadership has the autonomy to do what makes sense for their function in ways that deliver benefits for their unique workstreams. We have and will make exceptions for employees where such a shift would create hardships.
