Pros

You get to work from home

Cons

The company says they are fanatical about their employees and pushed the employee survey on us and promised results from it but when it comes down to it leadership never went over the results or plans to make things better even though it was request multiple times. The gas pedal is always to the floor management asking more and more if you then putting a 40 agent team on you. There is absolutely no educational benefits and everyone gets paid the same with the same bonus no matter the quality or amount of work they do. Upper leadership on the program is so disconnected from reality they really do not care about their team they only care about themselves the company value’s definitely do not show through. If they were actually fanatical about their employees they would actually do something with the employee survey that was shoved down our throats.

Pros

Most colleagues were friendly Free fruit and cereal Unlimited free usage of a nice coffee and hot chocolate machine Good amount of opportunity to climb the ladder, however this is mostly due to high employee turnover (people keep leaving).

Cons

Undervalued - in a team meeting, one of the leaders explained how Concentrix views its staff. You are either making the company money, by taking phone calls or completing tasks for Concentrix's clients, or you are an expense, someone who supports other staff members to complete the above duties. For example, support roles, staff that may provide support to colleagues but not actually complete work directly for the client. Unreasonably low pay - the pay was very low and hovering above the award rate. The pay in no way reflected the requirements of the role, or the expectations that management were demanding. Management caught wind that I might be leaving to join another organisation and asked for a meeting. In the meeting I raised my concern about the low pay and outlined reasons of how I bring value, and why I should be paid a higher amount. I can't recall the exact wording, but in response one of the senior members of management said to me, "well, it's above minimum wage". I was disgusted and appalled. The pay may have been above minimum wage but only by a few cents. Micromanagement - is at the core of the Concentrix culture. Staff would be discouraged from taking toilet breaks outside of scheduled tea and lunch breaks, and if too many toilet breaks were taken, or toilet break were too long, the team lead was expected to intervene. I was fortunate that I had a team lead that protected their team from as much of these unrealistic expectations as possible.

Pros

Keeping a roof over your head. Upper management were surprisingly nice actually. Useless though, the client has the entirety of Concentrix by the balls.

Cons

Smothering micromanagement - Every second of every day is required to be clocked and logged. Go a minute over break? Audited. Take a few seconds too long trying to write quality post-call notes? Audited. Continuous call evalutations. Make a minor mistake in order to appease the customer? Audited Site requirements for bonuses. Nail your stats month after month after month? Too bad, you don't get one. New hires fresh out of training or jaded vets skew the average because everybody knows the bonuses are a myth. Wanna use the toilets? Too bad, they bulk hired with no quality control and half the employees now defecate all over the seat and urinate on the floor. Earned a promotion? Congrats, you get to support double the workload with no pay rise. Bid-based hours, heavily tenure biased. Do significantly better than the majority of depressed, anxiety ridden zombies? Doesn't matter, you're working graveyard. Wanna never see sunlight and be one of the many, many employees with sever stress and anxiety for a nice salary package of minimum wage? Boy, does Concentrix have the deal for you... Oh and to wrap it all up nicely, never forget that the majority of nationwide sites were shut down overnight, ripping the livelihoods out from under thousands. All thanks to one tyrannical client.
