Pros

I would like to say positive thing about the place but there isn't much to say... There are some internal courses. The company have put employees on external apprenticeships to allow for self development. Clean Building and some friendly people. Oh and they buy Pizzas if you do something right. But the most you can expect out of the place is a little card with Thank You written on it.

Cons

Flat company Structure. The only way to move in the company is sideways. No recognition of effort for staff that wish to stay with the company and develop. Too many employees with relatives in the company who get made priority because Mummy says. Again too much red tape. Your qualifications and experience mean nothing to them! The only people who develop are people sleep their way through the office - Slags! Managers to not treat staff fairly, if you have a life keep it and "Don't Work For Computacenter!!!

Pros

Great place to start out, people are nice and friendly and Compuatcenter invests alot on IT Training which is great and i've largely benefited from.

Cons

Pay is nothing to to write home about, not competitive and as soon as you ask for a pay rise, you are told to to go stick it. in my opininon, CC are tthe IT pimps of the IT industry. Pimping put their engineers to the highest bidder then taking a large percentage of the money they make.

Pros

Job stability - this could be very important given the current economic climate. A car is provided, although this has to be paid for, to a certain degree (it still works out cheaper than having your own car, though). Colleagues are helpful.

Cons

Management doesn't look at the 'big picture' when it comes to employee satisfaction. They will only invest in their employees if there is virtually no cost in doing so. They are extremely reluctant to spend money today, to make larger savings in the future. Being promised something and then not having it happen leads to poor morale. We would rather not be promised anything in the first place.
