      OK, after several years of no progression

      Pros

      Good people, positive mgmt structure change, peers happy to share IP and lessons learnt, expenses and mileage paid, sufficient tools to enable you to do the job.

      Cons

      pressured work, can be significant travel required, lack of training, lack of support to those who need it in their projects.

      Pros

      The company clearly tries to keep an identity and as such attempts to look after its employees by way of managerial meetings. Something to bear in mind if you're in Europe is that they are particularly good on the international front. A number of my colleagues have successfully transferred from one country to another whilst retaining work with computacenter.

      Cons

      I sometimes felt that the management had too many people to look after. In terms of career progression it is quite easy to be missed unless one does something to get noticed.

      Lots of opportunities for anyone who is looking for a career in a forward thinking Organisation. Possibilities to move within the Company both in the UK & Europe. Very challenging and fast paced environment.

      Cons

      Complex organisation which can be hard to get your head around - so give it time!
