Pros

Great opportunities for learning and personal development

A lot of international travel, weekends included. A lot of change both across the industry and within the company - can be both a pro and con.

Pros

Compensation was equal to much larger companies in the Chicago area. Short communte for those living in the South Suburbs. I was able to put in long hours and still spend time at home with my family. Even with the recent move to Joliet Andrew / Comscope is a easy commute.

Cons

Senior management was to consumed with selling the company. Felt organic growth was a bad word and purchased too many smaller non profitable competitors in an effort to make Andrew something it wasn't. Forgot core compentancy and focuse on diversification. Also Senior managment practiced flavor of the day strategies, when one wouldn't work it was discarded and a new strategy implemented.
