Pros

The company pays well and for the most part the managers let you do the work you need to do without micromanaging.

Cons

It’s a dying industry and Commscope’s products are relics compared to what’s out there now. They will hold on for a few more years just because of the share of the market they have and some of the older generation holding on to cable systems, but they have no plan for growth or expansion into the next 10years and beyond.

Think Twice If You Don't Care For Propaganda

Pros

Pay is good. The work schedule is flexible.

Cons

We are now regularly invited by HR to what is essentially woke political training. No doubt to obtain some ESG score of dubious business value. Today the "Diversity and Inclusion Network" invited us to a webinar on "Understanding Allyship". This a company that is already very diverse. That is not the issue. Woke propaganda is the issue. This "training" isn't being force with threats yet, but that's probably eventually coming. That's when I'll leave.

Thank you for your honest feedback. We are disappointed to read that you see our efforts to improve as a company seen as propaganda. You are correct that as a global company, we are naturally diverse. We are always wanting to become stronger and continuously improve for our employees, like you, who make us who we are. If you'd like to provide us more feedback or particularly discuss your situation, we encourage you to speak to your HR Business partner or send us a message to TalentAcquisition@commscope.com.

Pros

After being bought and sold many times, all the pros are gone. Work from home.

Cons

Heavy micro-management and no clear direction. Multiple bosses after just a year and a half make the possibility of a promotion non-existent and the lack of understanding being led by people that have no knowledge of what you do that much harder. HR is a dead end and completely useless to help in any compacity. Management is more concerned about looking good to other management types than helping their own teams.
