Pros

The experience was really nice and I would sure recommend it to friends and family. The best benefits and RRSPs

Cons

Nothing personally with the company's management but the branch management did not allow me to take some extra days off for my wedding so i had to quit just so that i can spend some time with my new family back home.

Pros

Decent wages. Good benefits. Branch was close to transit. One assistant branch manager (now retired) was very supportive, nice, and knowledgeable.

Cons

Terrible raises for bank tellers. Unless continuing in sales, little-to-no career growth opportunities. No financial benefit when taking on more responsibility and work. Highschool-like cliques and drama with management. Branch drives away best employees due to lack of leadership and support. Seniority not given when deciding on shifts. Branch manager took multiple smoke breaks for long lengths of time and left branch occasionally with no management at all. Intake focusing too much on diversity instead of people that know math or understand computer systems (one new employee didn't know what a toonie was). Having inexperienced, lazy employees train new employees, implementing bad habits on new hires.
