      Pros

      Union representation means zero mandatory overtime, you're very unlikely to get laid off, airplanes are cool

      Cons

      Management decisions are communicated in a lazy way, manager quality is pretty poor, very 1970s mindset in too many things, impossible to make changes that would benefit the company

      - benefits (paid only 40$/mo for healthcare) - amazing education benefit that starts as soon as you are hired (covers the cost of bachelor's or master's with some stipulations for the master and certain funding caps but most generous program I've heard of across industries) - growth opportunities - business travel - learn cross-functional skills and about the whole company - union job - high degree of work-life balance - if you land in a good team you're golden and even if you don't there is opportunity to move around in the company to find your fit

      - workplace politics - manageable degree of sexism - managers looking out for themselves
