Pros

Free broadband and £10 each for your Christmas meal, as long as it's outside work hours.

Cons

By the time the internal cogs start moving on a deal and you have pricing approved the slicker competition will be out with your old client having a slap up meal. BT Retails management are s joke who only care about themselves rather than staff or customers. They double claim deals to hit numbers whilst bullying staff. A horrid company that is going backwards fast

Pros

Great people to work with. Great industry to work in. It is very different than standard call center operations.

Cons

Uses many contract employees from Manpower. These people have little or no chance of getting on full-time with BT. This is after many years of service at a "temporary employee". The few that did get converted saw little or no increase in their pay. Regardless of your performance you will always get rated as Average. Pay increases are few and tiny. Expect to become an expert on service delivery but without any increase in pay. Most of this company's conferencing revenue is from America, and yet they continue to migrate American jobs to Hungary. BT benefits, especially medical, are terrible. This company is a British company headquartered in the UK.

Pros

Quite good salary, but if you count that you have to work in 3 shifts, it becomes relativey worse... The 3 shifts alllow you to go to university, being still full time.

Cons

Completely exhausting, they don't deal with any of the human aspects of workforce, nor in workload, neither in the construction of offices. I hardly received any training for my job, because it was so urgent for them to start working - therefore almost nobody knew what to do, how to manage some problems. If you need help, nobody helps, because neither they know the solution and they are busy. They fired me at the end of my probation period just because it turned out I was pregnant - there was no problem with my work, and there was a huge lack of manpower in my field then (Italian + English speaking assistants).
