Pros

Good increment in salary.(based upon rating) Phone and broadband bill reimbursment.

Cons

No personal technical growth. There is difference in JD shared and actual work assigned after hiring. Hire for L2 but assign L1 work. Demoting from L2 to L1 without giving any chance to prove yourself. Cab deduction from salary. Not providing appropriate chance to promote yourself. Inclusion of huge variables in salary package. Night shift allowances are included in the package. Managers only support guys who are involved in buttering and provide them with team information. No proper cafeteria. Find it difficult to get food during night shifts. Most of the time, night shift allowances are not provided on time. No work life balance. Shift changes every week.

Pros

A person works better in their chosen field, and gives 110% more back into company. Ever heard of a 'Happy Workforce?' Well, it's achievable!! I found that Management were the ones who controlled the purse strings and made all the decisions. What was the point of the 1 - 1 again? Hmm! Recognition and Rewards were good, but if some one shows 'hunger'' then give them a chance. I was excellent in the job I was doing, but wanted to do more in my 'chosen' field, which I found so difficult to even get someone to answer the door I was knocking on. Finally worked with a Manager who recognised my potential. I then became his PA and loved every minute of it. No one had been able to live up to his expectations, but I did! Had I had that when I first joined BT in 1989, I don't think I would have left. I am sure if I'd stayed, my then manager, would have helped me to get a step into my dream job! Thank you Alan

Cons

After putting in, and giving 110% back to BT, found that things took a looong while to get moving. Managers tend to 'hold you back' because they don't want to lose you. But they do, not in body, but in spirit. Then it just becomes a 'boring job' and not a 'get out of bed for' job. I know the boring jobs have also got to be done, but please, don't halt progression and career aspirations.

Good working experience at this global company

Pros

Working hours are flexible. The company has good team spirit where everyone tends to help out each other to resolve any critical issues. Good benefit package. Company thrives for an internal continuous growth and learning environment.

Cons

Although working hours are flexible, you end up working overtime or working global hours since you are dealing with people all over the world. Company's vision/direction changes every two years. Not much career growths.
