Pros

You can work from home, nice enough food in the canteen

Cons

Forced weekend and late night working in the technical teams to hit release dates, I doubt any major deliveries would be achieved without making employees work outside of contracted hours. Constant cost cutting and skills reduction in technical teams, no desire to learn or improve. Massive management tier creates reporting on reporting, political atmosphere, think upside down triangle in terms of organisation Us and them attitude persists throughout. Very hierarchical controlling culture Aggression and escalations preferred over team working and servant leadership

Pros

Absolutely none whatsoever. Although, perhaps the fact that one day someone will realise they are still a monopoly who shaft their clients and staff and will one day force them to the wall.

Cons

Culture of bullying. Number of staff off on long term sick terrifying. Do not care for their corporate clients needs, only what they want to ram down their throats. Account Managers and Directors expected to do 8 appointments a week to a pool of 10-12 clients. News for you, nobody can or does! They don't want to see you. Deliberate culture of taking time to resolve issues. Everything needs a specialist, and they are always disengaged and hateful. Culture of being seen to do. GM's are awful.

Pros

Difficult to pinpoint any USPS in terms of pros. Benefits are comparative to those you would expect from any similar size organisation. Only Employee Broadband and TV spring to mind

Cons

Too many to fit all here. Archaic organisation, obsessed with governance and complex process. The higher up the ranks you go, the less in touch with what's happening on the ground they are. Bullying culture, where fear stops anyone from speaking up. Sadly, current cull of staff means best resources, I.e. Knowledgeable staff, who actually manage to hold everything together are seeing the light and moving on. A broken company that I don't believe can be fixed under the current regime.
