Don't join if you are serious in your career or even slightly ambitious
Pros
Zero work pressure Good culture if you want to be in a state of revelry Average salary (explains the above two reasons) Finance team is the one which works perfect! (As salary gets credited on 25th) Try to write a paper or work on demo -you get a chance to visit boston 9 to 5 job .. If you want 4 is also fine.. Government job in a semiconductor company.. Overall a cool place for retirement..
Cons
You will deliberately stop thinking if you work for even a single year Zero clarity on projects/roadmap- you ask Manager-> director->Gm ->vp.. You won't get to know.. By the time they get back either they move on or re organised or get fired Annual increments is a pure gamble. It's a unique formula that's not explained/understood by your Manager or HR. Pure luck.. No accountability/aggressiveness Complete mess.. ADI is a great company but great work doesnt happen in all the groups. People policy , work environment , benefits are all really good.. But if work clarity, quality really matters, strongly suggest to avoid.. why should I do this? How important is it? Who's the customer ? What is my role and day to day activities - please ask and join.. Otherwise you will end up writing paper, rigging a demo, proof of concept .. HR is more of Admin role and not towards personnel ( training, retention, development, performance management etc)
