Pros

The scope of responsibility is immense and commensurate learning curve is steep which is good at the start of ones career. Pathways have good visibility inside Amazon Ops world and hence have good future mobility options if they stick around

Cons

Work-life balance is absolutely horrible! The work-culture is not at all nurturing but is infact extremely intimidating. The Leadership Principles, which form the backbone of everything Amazon, are often used as a convenient beating stick. Program barely instills in your any business acumen or builds on one's analytical capabilities. Its a one-dimensional program with potential to develop only man-management capabilities rendering it generic in nature
