      Pros

      Great work / life balance. Coffee breaks galore. The end product is very interesting and they do a good job a promoting what is being made internally. Communication is pretty good as well.

      Cons

      You feel like a number there. This company will hire 10 people to do one job. Overall, to get a raise (non-standard) or a promotion, someone has to leave. Working above and beyond does not get you very far.

      Room to make mistakes at first so long one shows initiative, confidence and growth.

      Cons

      Pay can be much better. Its just enough to be somewhat competitive. Room to grow can be limiting.

      Pros

      Given the low level of experience prior to the internship, the amount of responsibility was steadily increased over the course of the year, with freedom to work on a variety of interesting in the R&T department.

      Cons

      Low pay, which makes living difficult given the expense of living in Bristol. No real connection between the internship and the graduate scheme, there isn't an incentive to come back.
