Pros

Company sponsored: Education - free education promotes personal / technical / up to date skills. for better marketability and potential prep for various certifications. Health benefits - Although offered, one personally packages specific offering at accumulated cost that is deducted on a per paycheck basis. The benefits primarily don't pay out unless the costs are major almost making the insurance a sinking fund.

Cons

Not very good at persistance finding work once a contract has been terminated.

Pros

Adecco eliminates the administrative hassle of being an independent contractor by doing invoicing and paying your employment taxes.

Cons

A friend helped me find this temporary job at a large mutli-national company which required that I go through Adecco to take the job. Adecco had nothing to do with me getting this job, yet they receive a hefty percentage of my hourly wage. Although Adecco considers me an employee, I consider them an administrative service (invoicing and tax paying) and I feel that I am paying way too much for that administrative service and not getting anything back from Adecco as an employee.
