Pros

Self-directed work without supervisors breathing down your neck. Very easy in my opinion. Maintaining the camera can feel stressful but my camera had a motorized up and down. If you like to drive, listen to music/podcasts you'll love this job.

Cons

People are very curious about what you do and many have strong opinions about it. I got in a couple of unwanted altercations because people had feelings about surveillance or seemed to target me as being a specifically terrible driver because of the car (I drove many years before and after street view and never met the same amount of vitriol), Low pay but, again, the job was very easy.

- Lacking in compensation - Little to none year end bonus which can be demoralising - No insurance coverage for outpatient visits - Slower career progression
