Pros

The health benefits were decent, but that is the only positive thing I have to say about working at Parker + Lynch Legal.

Cons

Poor, ever-changing management and leadership structure; constant dehumanization of employees; racist comments in the workplace (I'm not a minority, just observing poor behavior); employees are encouraged to lie to candidates and clients; permitted bullying by peers/colleagues; and high turnover.

Total Mess

Pros

There are amazing hard working people scattered throughout the org Mileage reimbursement to go onsite (if you fight for it)

Cons

Total company restructure every year or 2. Waves of layoffs based on snap decision making by upper management. In my 12 month stint I went through 5 managers. Company had 3 different CEOs in just over a year. Low Pay, Ungrateful clientele, Coworkers are miserable and are given goals that they cannot meet based on client performance.

High stress, heavy workloads

Pros

People reporting to me were top notch

Cons

Long hours, working nights and weekends. Workload is more of at least 1.5-2 positions. Leadership describes environment and culture as “fast-paced, work hard/play hard”. understatement of the year to describe very high stress and high volume. No worklife balance and toxic management and culture. Micromanaging leadership. Job very negatively affected mental health and family life. Culture is to overwork management since they are salaried and keep hourly employees to just 40 hours to save on OT. Wouldn’t be as bad if management actually set these expectations honestly but snowing employees into thinking that this is the best ever job environment and then gaslighting them is just wrong on so many levels. Just my experience. My peers and upper management seemed programmed to thrive in this type of chaos and unnecessary drama. Paid decent annual salary and bonus structure but when divided by the number of hours worked, hourly rate was minuscule. Just not worth it.
