Pros

I joined AXA Assistance a few years ago. All the people working here a genuinely nice, open and helpful. Great benefits.

Cons

Horrible CEO who rules through fear and intimidation. He has zero respect for any of the employees. HR expects you to figure things out for yourself. HR does not help with questions, they have a lot error on payment Top roles aren't clearly defined with nosy managers trying to influence outcomes that are not their responsibility. All of senior management could use a business leadership 101 refresher course. Company layoff 40 people that been working for 8 or more years to transfer position to office in Chicago and hire and train new people earning the same money than the one they just fire. They are transfer position to India and layoff people in the US

Pros

I joined AXA Assistance a few months ago. All the people working here a genuinely nice, open and helpful. This is a truly diverse workplace. The growth potential is huge and there is a real start-up feeling here. I really feel proud to be part of a team whose purpose is to assist people as they face difficulties while traveling.

Cons

The workplace needs to be modernized but I understand that it should soon be refurbished

Pros

Environment changes quickly - you can get lots of opportunities to contribute if you are engaged and hard-working. Very diverse culturally, so you are always working with people that you can learn from. Great place to get international exposure and business experience. Friendly staff and nice location. Lots of communication from top management, so you feel connected.

Cons

Depending on what you're looking for, the fast-paced environment may or may not be a plus. Not the kind of place where you can just kick back, put in your hours and expect to get promoted. You have to engage and contribute to be recognized.
